PocketPrice is built for resellers pricing items in the field, on phones, in bright sun and busy aisles. We want every seller to be able to use it, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom, or high contrast.
Our Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, across thepocketprice.com and the PocketPrice app. We check new pages and features against it with automated testing and manual review on mobile and desktop.
What We Do
- Text and controls meet WCAG color contrast ratios.
- Pages can be zoomed and pinch-zoomed on any device.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks, and labeled form fields so screen readers can navigate them.
- Links, buttons, and forms work with a keyboard as well as touch.
- Tap targets are sized for use on a phone.
Known Limitations
Some features, such as the barcode scanner and photo pricing, depend on your device's camera. Every item can also be priced by typing a description instead.
Report a Barrier
If something on PocketPrice is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Include the page and what you were trying to do. We will reply as soon as we can and help you get it done another way while we fix it: support@thepocketprice.com
